Column One: Responding to the slaughter

I think this article pretty much somes up the situation. Carolyn Glick says exactly what I wish I could convey.   Column One: Responding to the slaughter What we are seeing in Jerusalem today is not simply Palestinian terrorism. It is Islamic jihad. No one likes to admit it. The television reporters insist that this is the worst possible scenario because there is no way to placate it. There is no way to reason with it. So what else is new? The horrible truth is that all of the anti-Jewish slaughters perpetrated by our Arab neighbors have been motivated to greater or lesser degrees by Islamic Jew-hatred. The only difference between the past hundred years and now is that today our appeasement-oriented elite is finding it harder to pretend away the obvious fact...

The Jewish Nation Celebrates Life

Jerusalem chief rabbis call for unity in face of terrorist attacks The chief rabbis of Jerusalem, Shlomo Amar and Aryeh Stern, led a prayer rally at the Western Wall on Thursday afternoon for the victims of the terrorist attack in Har Nof on Tuesday, and for those injured in the other recent terrorist incidents. Deputy Religious Services Minister Eli Ben-Dahan and senior national-religious leader Rabbi Shlomo Aviner were also in attendance. Stern condemned the attack that was staged in the Har Nof neighborhood, describing the terrorists as “bloodthirsty,” but also called for greater Jewish unity in the wake of such events. “The response to such an attack must be outrage,” said the rabbi. “We cannot reconcile ourselves to the murder of innocent people in a...

On a number of occasions last month, Color Red rocket-warning sirens went off in Gaza border communities, sending residents fleeing for shelter for the first time since the end of the summer’s 50-day war with Hamas. Well the “BOOMS” are Definitely “BOOMS”

Well the quite booms that I could barely hear before have turned into the real thing. I asked Ron about a half hour ago if he heard any booms? He said no. So I started to search if anything was being reported. Nope, couldn’t find anything except for the following in the Jpost. At least now I know the official reason for the now loud booms. It wasn’t just a figmant of my imagination.   Police remain vigilant as Hamas calls for ‘Day of Rage’ on Friday Police are maintaining heightened security amid Hamas’s call for a “Day of Rage” against Israel on Friday during which the terrorist organization implored Palestinians to take to the streets “in solidarity with the Aksa Mosque and Jerusalem intifada.” Accusing Israel of “desecrating” the Aksa Mosque,...

Both are discussing the names, just released, of those murdered whilst at this morning’s prayers in synagogue. ” At that moment a beautiful little 7 year old boy comes in accompanied by his rabbi. The rabbi, in a choked-up voice announces the full name of the smiling bashful child. The grocer immediately realizes that this is the son of one of those killed in the attack. The rabbi signals that the child has not been told anything....
