Yom HaAtzmaut – 5776 – 2016

We started off Yom HaAtzmaut with a picture of Elyashiv, our youngest Jew in the family. A composite made by his mom and sent on the family Whatsapp. After a festive Mariv – מעריב – evening prayer, we enjoyed a Yom HaAtzmaut presentation. Here’s a birdseye view, filmed by Yedidya’s & Roi’s new “toy”, a professional drone. They are putting together a film for Sa’ad 70th birthday. They film professionally. Yom HaZikaron – 5776 – 2016

Just received Whatsapp for the Soldier seriously injured yesterday in a pigua near Hizma. He now undergoing  surgery. Please forward to as many  people as you can. Please pray for שחר בן איילת – Shachar ben Ayelet. This was my 33rd Yom HaZikaron since we came on Aliya. I never imagine how I can have the zichut – זכות – privilege to experience something new and awesome. But Hashem granted one of those rare Golden Moments to my Mom and me yesterday. There are 23,000 Graves of Fallen Israeli Soldiers since the creation of the State of Israel in 1948. An Israeli Soldier stands next to each  grave as the 2  minute “Siren” is heard throughout the country. This year my Mom and I heard the “Siren” as we proudly watched Tzur stand...
